My current hosting's Kernel version is 2.4.30-rc4-grsec and the cPanel version is 10.0.0-RELEASE-161. I am running a wordpress blog (verson 1.5) on it with couples of plugins. Is it ok to transfer my current hosting to TCH? Also, is there any possible way to transfer my old Awstats or Webalizer records? Thanks. Quote

TCH-Don Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Welcome to the forums I am showing cPanel 10.2.0-R25 The techs can normally transfer your site for you since you have cpanel. The stats are in your home > tmp > awstats folder. If they do not transfer, just copy them over. There are many wordpress users here and can offer help if you need it. You can open a help ticket (link at top of page) and ask the techs to park another domain on top of your account, no charge. You of course will have to point the other domain to the DNS in your welcome e-mail. As to support for your account for server problems, there are techs from all over, so the time should not matter. If you need help with third party scripts, you can get it here from the family members. If you have any other question, please ask. Quote

Tomorrow is the weekend and the phone number I left is my home number. What if I am sleeping or dont get the call, will you call again? TCH-Bruce Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 TCH does a number of security checks on all new clients, but if you are in Taiwan, they will only call if other issues are found, which need clarification. And they will consider the timezone you are in when calling. Quote
