llama_thumper Posted May 2, 2003 Posted May 2, 2003 i'm trying to upload around 50 image files to my site, using cuteFTP. the log says: STATUS:> Login successful STATUS:> This site can resume broken downloads COMMAND:> PWD 257 "/" is current directory. STATUS:> Retrieving directory listing... COMMAND:> PASV ...... STATUS:> Sending 26.jpg COMMAND:> PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (216,180,243,122,165,36). COMMAND:> REST 2461696 350 Restarting at 2461696. Send STORE or RETRIEVE to initiate transfer. COMMAND:> STOR 26.jpg STATUS:> Connecting data socket... 451 26.jpg: Append/Restart not permitted, try again. ERROR:> Can't initiate data transfer my question is, why is appending not permitted, and is there any way to set at least have the option of overwriting or automatically setting it to append? many thanks!
