Change Active Domain Name

Since I run MT 3.x I thought I would post this here.

 

Earlier today I submitted a help ticket requesting a change to my active domain name. I asked for an answer to a question before the change was to made which has not been answered, even now that my active domain name has changed.

 

That question is / was, is there anything that I must do on my end before or after my active domain name changes?

If you want the new active domain name to be reflected in your MT weblog's links, you'll need to change the domain name 1) in your mt.cfg file (CGIPath setting), and 2) in Weblog Config (Site URL and Archive URL). Then rebuild your entire weblog.

And don't forget to point the new domain to your nameservers here at totalchoicehosting.
