fableblue Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Hi i`ve been reading the forum and it`s awesome the support service you give to costumers and non costumers. i`m really interested in your hosting plans, my question is i want to host a friend of mine and i would love to give her a subdomain, can i have a subdomain when my domain name was registered at godaddy?? or i have to transfer the domain with you in order to have subdomains? and also, my site would be a personal site but sometimes i will have fandom stuff, such as videos i`ve made in order to share them with other fans, interviews i taped and such stuff, can i host them here? thanks Karen Quote

On a virtual hosting account, you'd just need to set up your domain at GoDaddy to use TCH's name servers. The domain must point at the main TCH site - you can't set up the domain to point at a subdomain. All virtual hosting accounts at TCH allow subdomains, so you'd be able to create one for your friend to use if you wish. and also, my site would be a personal site but sometimes i will have fandom stuff, such as videos i`ve made in order to share them with other fans, interviews i taped and such stuff, can i host them here? You can host video and audio files at TCH, but you'd need to be careful to monitor your bandwidth usage since these types of files are usually very large. Hope this helps... Quote
