TCH-Bruce Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Welcome to the forums, amw_drizz Most likely the school is blocking the ports necessary for you to make the connection. Ports 2082 (http) or 2083 (https) need to be available for you to connect to cPanel. Quote
amw_drizz Posted April 6, 2005 Author Posted April 6, 2005 is there a way of which i can bounce through my school ports on 80 then have prots change to 2082 or 2083 for cpanel? Quote
amw_drizz Posted April 6, 2005 Author Posted April 6, 2005 can i create a php file which includes the cpanel ? or no? so i can access cpanel at school Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 There is no way I know to do what you want. What are you using in cpanel that you need to access your site that way? If you are making web changes you can use an FTP program to upload your changes. Quote
amw_drizz Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 see my school only allows ports 80 and whatever https is out and in. so any other ports are inaccessible. like ftp and ports like that. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I understand the reasons behind that. Don't know how else you will be able to access it though. Quote
