dooodlebugg Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 When ever I try to send out an email, it comes up with this error message: This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered. Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator. How do I fix this? It was working before, and I haven't changed anything. Thanks! dooodlebugg Quote
dooodlebugg Posted April 6, 2005 Author Posted April 6, 2005 For some reason, adding adding my username and password under the outgoing SMTP worked. I don't know why it suddenly stopped working, but I figured it out. I had this problem before, and I'd already changed to port 26, so I was a little confused. Is there any other reason why my outgoing email would come up with errors? Thanks again, dooodlebugg Quote
TCH-RobertM Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Hello dooodlebugg Welcome to the forums, Can you please change you port from 25 to port 26 Many ISP's are blocking on Port 25 now. You can do this by clicking on Advanced options and changing the SMTP port to 26 Also If you are experiencing problems Please use our HELP desk located at the top of this forum for server related issues.
