Guest Lynn Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 I am putting together my first web site, and using Trellix. Once complete, how easy will it be for me to "get it to you"? I looked at the control panel and don't really know what most of that stuff is. Can you help the computor illiterate publish a site? What information will I need? And can I do the sign-up, domain registration and search engine submission form at one time? Is the search engine submission necessary? Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 (edited) Hi Lynn, first welcome, there are a few of us using Trellix/CSB here. As far as publish settings, see KW's CSB support site click on publishing for the settings I am assuming you have the publish anywhere version, if not see Why Can't I publish with Trellix For the control panel see the TCH Help Site for more info, it may seem a little overwhelming at first, but you will get used to it. And no you do not have to use the search engine submission. If you do not have a domain name yet or a site, you do not have anything to submit yet. And yes you can do the sign-up and domain registration here. hope this helps, and if you need more just post in the Cute Site Builder & Cute FTP section. You will get lots of help here. Welcome to your new home and the family you are going to love it here Edited August 31, 2003 by MikeH Quote
Guest Lynn Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Thanks! That was really helpful. I had almost signed up with a different host this morning, but started to read the posts and realized how frustrated the clients were there. This seems very organized and helpful! I am glad I found this site! Quote
