In cpanel, when you click MYSQL you are taken to MySQL Account Maintenance page. Is this page part of the mysql download or is it a GUI addon as part of cpanel?

I believe it's part of cPanel

Thanks Bruce. I'm setting up mysql on a home computer and had about determined that it was part of cpanel. It makes setting up db's alot easier than using phpmyadmin. I have phpmyadmin installed so I may have to use it unless someone knows of an addon to mysql for an interface like the one in cpanel.

I'm having the same difficulty. Don't know how to set one up on my PC. Time to do a google search.

I did a short search,pressed for time this morning, but didn't find much.

I'm going to be away for a few days so if you find anything please post it here.

If nothing else I will see what I can find when I return after Easter.

There's no GUI addon to MySQL because MySQL is just the database engine. What you want is a GUI client for MySQL and there are quite a few of those available. I recommend MySQL administrator, it's pretty good, works on various operating systems and is made by the same folks who make MySQL itself
