DylanC Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 (edited) Hi there. Got a little problem I hope some one can help with. Currently, I and a friend have wibsites that are both hosted by Total Choice. My Domain is WWW.SUPERGIRL.NU and his Domain is WWW.CONTINUUMWORLDS.ORG By the end of March, I would like to change my Domain to www.the-imperium.org and move the Supergirl.nu domain so that it is parked at and pointing to my friend's site (www.continuumworlds.org) (I have the NU domain for another year but do not plan on renewing so for the remaining time I would like it to at least remain useful for those that take their time changing their bookmarks and for email purposes) I would really like that domain to point to a redirect page that specifically informs the visitor that they need to change their bookmarks, but from what I am reading, I don't think that is possible with out accounts. So, I know that when I get ready to make the changes, I have to make the changes to the-imperium.org DNS so that it points to total choice.... but what changes and what steps will I have to go through to make it the primary and to move the Supergirl.nu domain over to the other account? (now isn't that clear as mud? ) Dylan Edited February 26, 2005 by DylanC Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 This would be done by opening a support ticket with the help desk. You would ask them to change the supergirl.nu domain to the new domain name and then park the supergirl.nu domain on top of continuumworlds.org. You are correct that you cannot point supergirl.nu to another folder on either site unless you had a reseller account. Quote
