I just tried to upload an image file and create a thumbnail using Movable Type and encountered the following error: Thumbnail failed: Reading image failed: Exception 395: unable to open module file `/usr/local/lib/ImageMagick-6.1.7/modules-Q16/coders/jpeg.la' ImageMagick shows up in my list of installed perl modules, so I'm kind of stumped.
