13 New Windows Security Vunerabilities

Here's a heads-up for those of you who use the operating system that "is everywhere, works with little intervention, works with the majority of computers, the majority of peripherials, and the majority of software programs"

Petree writes "Microsoft has given advance notice that on February 8th, they will be releasing patches for 13 vunerabilities. Happily a day later they'll have a nice little webcast so answer questions about the vunerabilities. Windows users, don't forget to run WindowsUpdate first thing Monday morning."

 

PS - don't take this as a "windows sucks" kind of post. I only post these warnings about windows security patches and security flaws because I know most people don't take security seriously enough and so I do this so they know they should update their windows instalations.
