lomn Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Since Wednesday (1/26), Mozilla Thunderbird has given me the following error when trying to send mail via the TCH mail server: You have received an invalid certificate. Please contact the server administrator or email correspondent and give them the following information: Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. I have the certificate for server86.totalchoicehosting.com in TBird's Certificate Manager, Authorities tab (set to ID web sites). Not sure what else I can check on my end. Quote

The technical support team do not constantly monitor the forum pages. I think I have corrected the issue - but would need to test it using your account details to be certain. Quote

I've opened a ticket, as the same error is still occuring. //edit: oops, thought of one more thing and fixed it. I cleared the CA trust for server86, then reaccepted it. Everything's fine now (closed the ticket). Quote
