I'm not sure how they accomplished this but I can't seem to get rid of them. I reuploaded my PHP webpage files to over write the altered ones.. or so I thought and It didn't do any good.. I've look all through the website folders and can't find anything?? I need some help on where to look and what to do? Can someone give me some help? hxxp://www.bogatones.com/b2/defalt.php here is my website link... the offending code shows up as double underline mouse over hovers.. Thanks! Kevin Quote
TCH-RobertM Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Boga this sounds more like you have some adware on your system that is showing Keywords in your page as links not sure but thats what it sounds like when I viewed your page it apears fine as of 7:07 pm I am viewing it with Firefox I would double check your system.... and run adaware and spybot search and destroy progs if you need some help with this pop a message back Quote
ztrauq Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 This sounds like a couple of variants of adware I read about a while back... if they're yellow or green underlined links on various words that wouldn;t normally have links on them, it's probably one of those variants. I'd heard that there were occasional difficulties removing them, but most of the antispyware programs now have full signatures and removal for them, so far as I know. Quote

I wasn't aware of such a thing. But I did find it in my System32 folder and got rid of it! That had me really stumped. I take my website security very seriously and I was crestfallen to think someone had done a number on our site. I put a lot of work into it! Thanks for everyones help on this!
