MothaCuss Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Ok, i've got a question related to ftp, but i don't believe the ftp transfer is the problem? So my problem is that i've just uploaded a newly edited video to my website. It worked perfectly on my computer: no choppiness, no staggers, it ran smoothly. But now when i run it off the site its choppy like crazy and pretty much slows to a stop except for the audio. So i figured it was doing something realtime, so i saved it to disk and ran it from there, but it was just as choppy as before. I compared the two files and they are the same size, yet one runs nicely and the other horribly....i'm using WS_FTP Pro, and i couldn't find the option to transfer using ascii or binary, but i'm not sure it even matters. Anyone got ideas? Quote
TCH-Don Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 It would have to be binary. have you tried cpanels filemanager to upload? Quote
Madmanmcp Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 I use WS_FTP95LE. Its under OPTIONS and select the "Sessions(cont'd)" tab. See if its the same in WS_FTP Pro. Quote
