chrisdaines Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 As a bloghosts refugee, i've read over the forums, and the plans and have concluded that totalchoicehosting.com is likely where I will continue my web hosting. I have a question however. good ol' jace herring must be busy with school, or life in general and has chosen to ignore my, and many other bloghosts patron's requests to transfer domain name ownership from bloghosts to the owner themselves. I have decided that purchasing the (.net) version of my domain name (chrisdaines.com) would be the best decision for a temporary solution. If, and i hope when, the (.com) version is available, can the newly accquired (.net) version be parked and point to chrisdaines.com? Or would that require me to purchase another hosting account? Thanks for your time. - chris daines Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 (edited) First of all, welcome, Whenever you decide to get a 2nd domain name for your account whether it be net, org or whatever just submit a ticket to the tech guys and ask them to park it. Edited December 16, 2004 by TCH-Thomas Quote
chrisdaines Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 so i wouldn't have to pay to have the domain parked and pointing to another? Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 You will need to pay for it when you register it but for the parking there is no cost. Quote
