One problem...for some odd reason my username is 'elvenje' when I put it as 'elvenjess' , not really important as I am getting a domain but anyhoo... The domain doesn't work, but I've seen this can take a while so I'll be patient. I can't wait to get set up! Quote

bethohio3 Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Your username doesn't have to have anything to do with reality, though :-) Its *only* required use is to log into cpanel. You can create anything you want for email addresses and your forum nickname. So, you have the following: Domain name: www.elvenjess.com Username (to login to cpanel): elvenje Email: create elf@elvenjess.com and jess@elvenjess.com The other place your username is used is as your default email handler. Any email addressed to an eddress that doesn't exist on your domain will be rerouted to 'elvenje'. My account name is actually 'beth'. I have no idea why, but I like it :-). My last host (which sucked) had my account name as 'bweiss', which was fine also, but the only time I used 'bweiss' was to login to their control panel (which sucked) --Beth TCH Rocks Quote
