codemaster10000 Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I was wondering if TCH allows for the use of CVS or SOS in its basic shared hosting services. I was brought onto a project that sorely needs it. they are hosted here. I am codemaster10000 - all your code are belng to us! Mad!!! Quote
LisaJill Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 I believe that you would need shell access for these, and thus a dedicated server. =) Quote
codemaster10000 Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 even if I were to use a GUI client such as VSS for SOS or some sort of CVS complient client? Quote
Madmanmcp Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 "This document describes the steps necessary to setup a very network-secure CVS server, allowing SSH access to chrooted CVS repositories." From what I understand TCH does not allow shell access anymore on shared servers, you would need a dedicated server. And on dedicated servers you are pretty much free to do what you want. Quote
borfast Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 Lisa and Bob are correct, you'd need shell access to do this and since TCH does not provide shell access on it's shared servers, you'd need a dedicated server do have a CVS server running. Quote
