I have serious spam issues, and I currently have over 40,000 emails in the default email account (that I don't use in the first place). It was this large before, and I sent a ticket to you guys, and you took care of it. I was wondering if I could just do it myself, so I wouldn't have to bother you guys again. Or, if there is someway to just totally get rid of this account, as to avoid this in the future? Thanks. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Hi, I would set the default address to :fail: or similar, and just set up the email addresses you need. I would also use SpamAssassin to get rid of the bulk of the spam. Yes, you can delete the inbox file with FTP, and it should then be recreated as an empty file by the server software. It's probably safest to just submit a ticket and ask us to do it for you though - we don't mind. Quote
