Blocking An Ip Address

I've heard there is a way to block a certain IP address from viewing you site. This is probably a simple question for most people but I'm new at this so if anyone could tell me I be most thankful.

Could put this in your .htaccess file,

 

><Limit GET>
order deny,allow
deny from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
</Limit>

 

Where xxx is the IP address you are wanting to block. You could also use the IP deny manager in cPanel as well.
