Hi,

I'm trying to find a hosting account that will let me email credit card details in encrypted format, but the hosts I've tried who claim to offer it haven't known the first thing about how to make it work.

I've found TCH through Google, which brought me to this page:

TCH forum pgp support request

However that seems to be the only information on the site about PGP.

I was able to upload my public key successfully to another host using cPanel, but getting from that point to sending email from a form was insurmountable. Do you guys have a script that works? This facility is, in a nutshell, the reason I'm considering TCH - that and the competitively priced reseller accounts B)

We dont provide any scripts for PGP or provide support for setting it up. From reading the other post you linked to it sounds pretty basic and they were able to set it up themselves wirth little effort.

Thanks anyway Mike.

It does sound pretty straightforward from what the other post had to say, but it's hard to say for sure whether an encrypted email was successfully sent in the end up! I've sent the user a message asking how they got on.

I think it's a bit of a shame that use of pgp to send encrypted mail isn't better supported. I would have thought the steps were simple enough when they were spelled out:

Upload your public key like this

Post form contents to be emailed here

Be sure to include fields x, y, and z

After all, if I've had so much trouble finding a hosting company offering a simple way to do it, there much be some benefit in it as a selling point for TCH!
