TCH-Thomas Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I visited this page with Firefox 1.oPR today http://www.nero.com/en/632011181528025.html I thought things like the following were I.E only: ><style> <!-- BODY{ scrollbar-face-color:C0DCC0; scrollbar-arrow-color:777777; scrollbar-track-color:C0DCC0; scrollbar-shadow-color:777777; scrollbar-highlight-color:C0DCC0; scrollbar-3dlight-color:777777; scrollbar-darkshadow-Color:C0DCC0; } --> </style> How do they make the scrollbars look like that?? For those with other browsers I attach a screenshot. Quote
LisaJill Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I am confused, their scrollbars look like normal firefox scrollbars in your screenshot, as well as when I visited using firefox. What are you seeing that makes you ask? =) Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 In the attached screenshot in this post you will have this forums scrollbar to the left and Neros scrollbar to the right. They do not look identical as I thought they should since the script in above post is supposed to be I.E only (Both screenshots are taken looked through firefox). Quote
LisaJill Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I'm not seeing that in firefox. It could be the difference in the length of the scrollbar or could just be a rendering issue with firefox on windows. If you note, the css colors you posted are not being used for the scrollbar or it'd look a lot different. My scrollbar for both sites looks like your scrollbar image on the left (the one for the forums). Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 The script I posted was just an example, since I didnt know which colors Nero use. They were from a site I am working on. Quote
LisaJill Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 You can view their code by view source, and their css is easily findable. There is no scrollbar adjusting code anywhere on the site. Just firefox being wonky. =) Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 Ok. I got a little jelous on nero for a while. Thinking they had came up with a good solution. <_> Thanks Lisa Quote
