Spamassassin Rewriting Subject

I have had Spam Assassin rewriting the subject line to include ***** SPAM***** at the start. It was working fine until today. The incoming mail is being caught, but the subject line is no longer being rewritten. Has there been a change made to Spam Assassin to prevent the subject header from being rewritten?
