PeepingCaesar Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 I purchased 2 domains via TCH and used the Domains by Proxy service. Everything is fine for my main domain, but I purchased a second through the same service and wish to forward all traffic from the new domain to the other. I found directions and they are very simple. However, when I login and go to Manage domains I do not have the Forward Domains button. I contacted Domains by Proxy thinking they had to do this, but they replied that they cannot. Do I submit a ticket for this? Quote
TCH-Don Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 You need to change the DNS of ther new domain to the nameservers in your welcome e-mail then open a ticket telling the techs you want to park that domain on top of your current domain. Quote
vengavenga Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Hi there, I reckon you need to change the dns nameservers of your domain to point to your hosting (TCH will have sent you details in your Welcome mail) and then see what TCH can do about "parking" it. So, in answer to your question, yes, I would do - in my experience TCH tend to answer tickets in record time and although everyone in these forums will do all they can to help you, you'll probably be able to resolve this problem sooner by sumbitting a ticket Cheers, Ali. Thanks for the quick response. In my securepaynet.net account (where the manage domain section is) the name servers are identical to the original domain. So now, I just open a ticket and ask them to park the new on the old? Quote
PeepingCaesar Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 Yep, thats it Ticket is in. Thank you Don. If that were any faster, you would have answered my question before I asked it. matt Quote
