Rednarb
I'm considering registering a new domain name, and I'd like to point it to an existing subdomain. Is that feasible? For instance, I have http://www.somesite.com And I also have a subdomain of http://othersite.somesite.com. But now I want to register www.othersite.com and have it point to the existing othersite.somesite.com location. Can do? aTdHvAaNnKcSe Eric P.S. TCH-Thomas
Not allowed according to AUP unless you have a reseller account.
TCH-Bruce
Welcome to the forum, Eric and the family. On a simple hosting plan you can park an additional domain over your current domain (they have to point to the same entry point to your site). You can do what you are asking with a reseller account or you can purchase another hosting package for the second domain.
