Spamassasin Allowing More Spam?

I have my account configured with spamassasin enabled and a spam box folder. In the last few days I have been receiving high volumes of spam, much more than I had been receiving. Has anything about spamassasin changed? Is there a need for an update? Is there anything more I can do?

I am not aware that anything has changed. But I do know that spammers are becoming more intelligent in finding ways to defeat what ever we put in place to try and stop it.
