Domain Pointing?

Hi all,

 

How can I point my domain name (parealtyads.com) to my script, which is www.parealtyads.com.cgi-bin.classifieds.classifieds.cgi

 

I want to be able to type in www.parealtyads.com and have it forward to the script address above, but I'm having trouble finding info.

Hi,

 

In cpanel, there is a function for redirect where you can redirect index.htm to www.parealtyads.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi

Thanks, but I didn't build an index page. I just want the domain name to point to my script address. I thought I saw it offered on other sites and I'm wondering if I can do it at tch.

 

I purchased the domain name from tch and I'm obviously hosting it here too. I want my script to be the first page visitors see.

index.htm is the default page that loads when someone types in www.yourdomin.com so adding the redirect as Andy mentions will load your CGI script instead.

In cpanel > redirect

you can redirect any request for a page to goto anothe page

I would try leaving the first box blank and the put the

www.parealtyads.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi

in the second box.

Then select permanent or temporary and ADD

I tried redirecting it by leaving the first box blank and couldn't get it to work so I made a blank index page and added it to the first box...works great!!!
