schmuck Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 I registered a domain name and subscribed to a hosting plan a few days ago, just got my domain name propogated and bulletin board installed. I encountered some problems when I tried to redirect a subdomain. I could create subdomains in Cpanel, and I saw a new directory created in public_html subsequent to creating the subdomain. I typed in a valid domain name and set up a redirection. The Cpanel showed that redirection was successfully established. However I had an error page (cannot find server or DNS error) whenever I tried to access to redirected domain name through the subdomain (which in my case is http://webmail.schmucks.net). Is this because the subdomain or redirection function is not yet activated? Or have I got some wrong settings? Thanks! Quote
