Installing Typo3

I am experimenting with a few different systems and have come across typo3.

I am trying to install this but the instructions say

Run these commands as root:

# chgrp -R <wwwserver> typo3_src-3.6.0/ <sitedir>/

# chmod -R g+w,o-rwx typo3_src-3.6.0/ <sitedir>/

---

how do I do this?

 

Is it possible to use the terminal to get into my site?

(Oh, TCH-Lisa, I have just tried pMachine which was VERY simple to install but looks limiting on first sight, I'll maybe try the demo of EE later).

Andy, you will have to open a Help Desk ticket and ask one of the techs to do it.

 

Shell access is not permitted on any of the shared servers.
