vmckinney Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 Hi - I have a client that is currently using FTP to move some video files around. They just upgraded their account to the platinum level and I've already recieved a critical warning email about exceeding their disk space. I realize the next step is upgrading to a dedicated hosting package but I'd like to know if there is an alternative for them in moving these large files around? They are exchanging these files with one or two other people, so bandwidth isn't an issue. Thanks in advance for your help. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 If they are online at same time I would recommend MSN Messenger or something similar. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 (edited) Are they zipping the files before putting them up? That would compress them some. The warning is automatic when they exceed 80% of their quota. Edited August 14, 2004 by TCH-Bruce Quote
