quinbus Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 I just got the following notice from TCH for a message I didn't send. Unlike most bounced "warning" messages, this one looks legit. What's the deal? Message text follows: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on server78.totalchoicehosting.com. The message identifier is: 1BugKm-0006WI-Dz The subject of the message is: Re: Seven Day Cruise for Two with Any Closed Loan! The date of the message is: Tue, 10 Aug 2004 19:47:12 -0400 The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is: downs@i-mailnet.com Delay reason: Remote host i-mailnet.com [69.6.66.10] closed connection in response to initial connection No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up, and when that happens, the message will be returned to you. Quote
