Hi, there...

I try to use security login (https) to my webmail and I got security alert message from IE. Actually, it does show me same things on mozilla. Here is what IE warns me...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by othres. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.

(fine) The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority

(fine) The security certificate date is valed.

(warn) The name on the security certificate is invalied or does not match the name of the site.

Do you want to proceed

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, the third message is what the warning...What should I do that can make sure the connection is not being directed some other people site...is regular webmail login safe?

Thx...

Welcome to the family, David.

Unless you purchase your own SSL certificate and have it installed you are going to see this warning. Just accept it and you are good to go.

If you want an encrypted connection the regular webmail login will not give it to you.

Thx Bruce...

I wonder if I can use SSL manager in CPanel to generate one...Or, can I install OpenSSL on my TCH hosting account...even when I login to CPanel, I don't see secure link is utilized...

Thanks for the reply...

And, I get following message when using security login thro mozilla to my webmail...

"unable to verify the identiy of 300755.servernode.net ... ..."

I am kinda curious about this server...isn't belonging to TCH...is it trustable...

Also, what can I do on SSL Manager in Cpanel...

I'm new with these stuff...I really appreciate if u can tell me more about it...thank you...
