mattisl Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Hi, I would like to set up a little shop for my site where I can sell some of our companies software. The problem is that everything needs to be automatic, which means: 1. User clicks 'Buy' -button 2. User enters credit card information etc. 3. User sends money 4. User receives a link where he/she can download the software I have considered using Paypal for this, but I could not find a way to make some kind of custom e-mail sent to the user with a link when the payment is done. Are there some other (free) alternatives instead of Paypal to do this? Thanks in advance / Mattis Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Check out www.esellerate.net I use them for my shareware business. They are great to deal with, nothing to sign up. They keep 10% of each sale for hosting your web store. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 If it involves payment via credit card you will not have a free option, every one get a fee. osCommerce can be set up to use PayPal and will return the customer to your site and you can have whatever text you want on that page and an email is sent to your customer as well.
