candide Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 (edited) All emails are being bounced this morning (at least to my lists). I see this error in the logs: [Tue Jun 22 09:31:33 2004] [crit] [client 12.24.xx.xx] (13)Permission denied: /home/jaxpoke/public_html/mail/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable [Tue Jun 22 09:16:45 2004] [error] [client 66.196.xx.xx] File does not exist: /home/jaxpoke/public_html/404.shtml [Tue Jun 22 09:16:45 2004] [error] [client 66.196.xx.xx] File does not exist: /home/jaxpoke/public_html/robots.txt The .htaccess is there and is 644, but it is 0 sized. The 12.24.xx.xx is our firewall trying to access it to send the mail from work. I've gone through and altered all directories above the .htaccess, and it still bounced, but no new entry in the logs.
