TCH-Thomas Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Yesterday I updated Mozilla to v. 1.7. Since then it has kept asking me if I want to send unsent messages, but I have no unsent messages. Does anyone know why or how I can fix it? Quote
purplespider Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Sounds like you also installed the mail program that comes with Mozilla, don't understand why there would be unread messages though. Having chosen in Mozilla's setup not to install the mail program I'm not 100% sure how to access it from mozilla, try looking for an icon to open it on the bottom right of mozillas status bar. Hope thats helps, James Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 Yup, I have the email client installed (my default email client). But i didnt have unsent messages before the update either so it cant be that. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Thomas check the offline & disk space panel in configuration. Do you have it set to ask you if you want to send unsent messages when starting? Change it to automatically send unsent messages. Here is a page that shows a screen shot. Scroll to bottom. http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/specs/prefs/PrefsOld1.html Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 Thanks Bruce I have never played around with that part in settings before so I didnt know to check that and I thought an update would keep all settings as before, I guess it doesnt. I checked it and set it to automatically send now...Now I just hope it doesnt send any invisible rude emails to people (considering I DO have unsent emails if asking mozilla ) If anyone here receives rude email from me, I apologize.
