ctorque Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I've installed a bulletin board behind a password protected directory and am getting multiple login windows. When viewers follow a link off the homepage to the member's only section (password protected directory), they are prompted to enter the login/password information. Once logged in, they get to view another page which has a link to the bulletin board. Clicking on the link to the BB does not prompt another login window, but when the viewer tries to login to the BB via the BB homepage, they get another login window asking them for the member's only section login and password. I'd like to have the viewers enter the member's only section password information only once. In other words, once they are in the member's only area, then I don't want them to have to re-enter any passwords other than their BB login password which is specific to the BB, not the member's only area. Is there a way to do this? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Suggestion, remove the password protection on the folder and configure the BB forums with group permissions. Then edit your members to give the ones you want permissions to see member only section. Quote
