I have a guestbook on jikrantz.net and want it on jikrantz.se.

I have gotten detailed instructions on how it could be moved, but it refuse to work.

So 2 questions...

1) Can i ask help desk to move it for me without me loosing any info in it and without having to rename username and pw for it?

2) What info will help desk need to move it if possible?

Thomas, easy way to do this,

goto the .net cpanel > backup,

look at download database,

click on the link for the guestbook maybe called agbook

save to a folder on your computer.

With an ftp program goto the .net public_html folder

and copy the guestbook folder to your computer.

Goto the .se cpanel > backup

if the datatbase is not still there,

use the browse on the right for upload a database,

to locate the file you downloaded and then select upload the database.

Now with ftp connect to the .se public_html folder

and copy the the guestbook folder from your computer.

And thats it.

I have done this and its that easy.

But if this is not working,

yes open a ticket and they will need the user/password for both sites

and ask to copy the guestbook from the .net to the .se site.

Either theres a ghost on my site or i must have missed something when i tried yesterday, cause its working now. I think it might be my ftp program that screwed up yesterday cause i saw now that it "missed" to download a few folders.

Too, i dont know how many times i have tried to have it upload a log.txt to for my counter. I think its time to reinstall this ftp thingy. Mad!!!

:( Thanks Don
