This isnt so much a scripting question as a potential mail problem. But I wasnt sure where to post it.

 

I use the PHP mail command to send out status updates. Today I had someone's mail server bounce a msg back to me with this:

 

554 Address "support@dvdspot.com" assumed to be invalid - Impossible to verify

 

 

support@dvdspot.com is a real email address (not a forwarder). This is the first time I have seen this. I am just concerned something may not be setup right, and cause problems in the future.

 

This was the header:

MIME-Version: 1.0

Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

X-Priority: 1

Steve, I moved your post to the Backend Services forum because it's more related to the mail service. This way we keep things nicely organised <_<

 

As for your problem, I have no idea what could be wrong but I'm sure one of the techs will say something soon.

 

PS - Your website URL in your forum signature has one extra 'v', like dvdvspot.com :dance:
