I am considering moving my domains that are currently manged at **** to TCH. But I would also like to know about moving my registrar? Is this possible?

It is possible I could just be confused about the roles, but I beleive my registrar is namesdirect.com and my DNS management is ****.

Here is my whois info:

Registrant:

Dennis Levens

Registrar: NAMESDIRECT

Domain Name: LEVENS.COM

Created on: 25-OCT-01

Expires on: 28-SEP-05

Last Updated on: 18-FEB-04

Administrative, Technical Contact:

Use Email

Domain servers in listed order:

NS1.****

NS2.****

NS3.****

NS4.****

End of Whois Information

Is it possible to move both over to TCH? Who does TCH use to register and renew domains?

I think I understand the steps, in that first you setup an account at TCH, then you go to your registrar (namesdirect.com) and change your domain server from **** over to the DNS servers at TCH. But then what? Do I go back to **** and delete my account or anything like that? How does the whois info get changed?

Namesdirect has done a decent job as my registrar but it would be nice to switch over to what TCH recommends for a registrar.

Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me.

If you can manage your DNS entries you can just leave your registrar as it is. All you need to do is point the DNS servers to TCH's servers. Nothing else needs to be done.

If you are paying for the **** account and no longer need it then yes, delete it.
