Hi guys, you guys are quick. But it's okay, after long hours of searching I figured out my solution. I found it here. Basically, if joomla installed the component, any file within it will have joomla as the owner. So I used JoomlaXplorer to tweak the files and it worked. I have not had this problem before yesterday. Uploading new files and overwriting existing ones using my cyberduck ftp client was smooth until yesterday. So then I thought maybe it's a permission issue so I logged into cpanel and into file manager. I tried changing the file permission and the folder it was in to '777', I can't even do that. So then I decided make the changes within cpanel, and tried to save the file and all I get is this '[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]' Please help. I am helping a school setup their website and needs to be up before school starts at the end of August. Thanks Etheline
