Thank you Bruce, it's working now. Seems it had to be all cPanel user/pass rather than half and half. No clue how it worked before or how I was able to choose my username but I'm not concerned at this point. It's working!! Thank you again!

I'm using CuteTP and was able to set my own username somewhere along the way. What ever I made the password doesn't seem to be what I thought it was. I'd like to change it but have no idea where. Thanks for your reply!

Hello! I am setting up FTP on a new computer. I went to login using what I had used before and it didn't work. I went to cPanel to change the password. It said all places that use that password were changed, including FTP. Is the password I changed really also for FTP? or do I change that somewhere else. It hasn't worked yet and it's been almost 30 minutes. If waiting is what is necessary I can do that. Thanks!
