Nope checked assoication. .rar is assoicated with winrar archiver. However I can rightclick save link as. but thats kind of annoying. but it will have to make due until i can find a fix. system is XP pro SP2 latest build of firefox.

I have a similar problem. But when i click on a download link and the file is .rar it attempts to display it in a new tab. No dl ever pops up/ i just see raw code in my new tab. I have gone all throught my firefox settings and its driving me crazy
