First, I'd like to say that I'm not a newbie (I've been playing with MT for a few years and have upgraded many, many times without any problems). And I've wandered around here and at MT.org in search of an answer without success.
Here's my story: I wanted to upgrade from 3.14 to 3.2. I got the upgrade zip, uploaded the files per the usual instructions, and modified the config file. And got a 500 error no matter what I did. In a fit of idiocy, I decided to delete my current installation (after saving all the files) and start over with the new full version.
Same story. When I go to http://teddysimon.com/scgi-bin/mt/mt-check.cgi, I get a 500 error. I have repeatedly uploaded my files in ASCII, have changed all the permissions to 755, and have edited the config file as shown below.
What is wrong with this picture? Earlier upgrades were WAY simpler and came with better installation instructions...
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
