  1. Just an update - I received a reply from the Help Desk - they confirmed that you can in fact change the domain name listed under the Reseller Account. Thanks
  2. Sooooo, I've just about sold myself on a Reseller Account, but I've one last question before I jump on the bandwagon. If I sign up for a Reseller Account under a particular domain name, would I be able to change the domain name under the Reseller Account at a later date?
  3. See, now you're talking! Now the Reseller Account starts to become much more attractive.... Thanks for all of the help.
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're saying here. If I'm reading this correctly, my reseller domain - lets call it myresellerdomain.com - has its own allotted space and bandwidth? For instance, suppose myresellerdomain.com hosts 10 websites - hostedsite1.com, hostedsite2.com, hostedsite3.com, and so on. Are you saying that myresellerdomain.com has its own space and bandwidth while the hostedsite1.com, hostedsite2.com, etc. share another separate section of space and bandwidth? I'm a bit confused. I know I'm missing something. Perhaps I need more coffee. Thanks for your help.
  5. Hello - I've hosted a single domain with TCH for a while now and have been satisfied with the service. I've been considering upgrading to a reseller account since I've recently been offered the opportunity to design and host several additional web sites. My concern is focused on the pricing scheme for reseller accounts. Comparing the virtual hosting accounts to the reseller accounts, I can't see much benefit to upgrade to a reseller account. For instance, a Standard Reseller account offers 60GB bandwidth, 3.3GB storage, and all of the amenities for $35.00/month. Now, compare that to a single Silver virtual hosting plan which offers 40GB bandwidth, 1.2GB storage, and all of the amenities for $5.00/month. For the same price as the Standard reseller account, one could potentially purchase 7 separate Silver virutal hosting accounts to provide 280GB of bandwidth, 8.4GB of storage, and all of the same amenities (assuming that you're hosting 7 different domains/sites). I understand that many hosted websites need nothing more than basic needs to host plain text and basic graphics, so its possible they'd not need all of the bandwidth allotted to them. I'm guessing thats where a reseller account would be most useful. Is there something I'm missing when it comes to a Reseller account? It doesn't really seem like much of a bargain unless I intended on hosting dozens of very, very small, text-only websites. Thanks in advance for any advice.
