OK Don't have anything with Norton and no firewall got zone alarm run McAfee-had JS/Seeker.u (got patch from MS) Installed Spybot Can I sent zone to allow 2082? Or is that wishful thinking? Still unable to access cpanel. Going to Adaware now. Thanks for all the help.

TruStealth: FAILED - NOT all tested ports were STEALTH, - NO unsolicited packets were received, - A PING REPLY (ICMP Echo) WAS RECEIVED. Could somebody please tell what that means? Also is it ok to use: http://cpanelproxy.net/ to access cpanel? Any down sides to it? TIA Anna

Ok I'm on home laptop wind98 and I can't find any firewall on it. Think it used to have Norton on it . Could it be something about Opera? IE crashes this poor thing ever time I try toopen.

Please excuse any typos. I'm on an ancient laptop and sometimes cursor goes haywire. Wanting to cange hosting to tch. Can I go ahead and pay and start working on site or do I need to wait till hosting with other company it thru? The main reason for change is this friendly forum. I can fumble thru somethings, but others I will be picking others brains. LOL, not ashambed to admit I can ask some pretty dumb questions.
