  1. Ok... it just happened again. While it was trying to load, I did a tracert and THAT went through just fine.
  2. I'll try that next time. Right now, everytime I check it seems slow to respond around: gige-AIX.gnax.net [198.32.132.26]
  3. OK... regarding the OTHER issue about having problems viewing pages... I just tried to check my email via horde and I got the following error: The connection has timed out This is the same error I always get on various pages through out the day. Ironically, I got it on the TCH forums at the same time. So... what's going on with this?
  4. Yes... that seems to be the issue I'm having as well. It might get through one file, maybe even 5-10, but after that... it bombs out.
  5. I'll check that from home. I normally do use passive with dreamweaver though. If it IS set to passive and I still have these ftp problems, what's the solution?
  6. Thanks guys... Been around for a while now... just rarely posting.
  7. I don't think that's it though. Not since I have the problem at home (earthlink) and work (Georgia State U. with at least 1 T3 line). I know what you mean, but I just don't think that's it. It's a pretty consistent problem for me too.
  8. What server are you on? I'm on Server93.
  9. I have done that. They always say they can't find a problem with it and move on. I was posting here mostly to see if ANYBODY ELSE is having a similar problem. All the info I've given is all I have. As far as FTPing, it happens from home and work using WSFTP, dreamweaver and windows explorer. Browsing, the problem happens on all types of pages in every browser on every os.
  10. Hey, I'm trying to figure something out regarding my account. Whenever I FTP more than a small number of files (the term small can vary in size from 1 to 10 or more), I sometimes have the connection to my server reset or something else weird happens that prevents the files from transferring. I sometimes will have to upload each folder one at a time to get around this issue. In addition to this, I constantly get complaints and observer my site not loading at all at certain times during the day (not always the same time either). The error normally given is "Cannot find server" or "server taking too long to respond." What is causing these types of errors and what can I do to get around them permanently?
