Sorry to go on. The transfer went through but now the older site is still listed as Tech. Why is this? This is getting frustrating; it shouldn't be there at all - please see the whois below. Apparently Wild West administers it, I own it in NY, but Ivan Pope - who will have nothing to do with it - now is tech in England? - I _do_ want to go with you guys, but I'm having a lot more trouble probably than most people just transferring the domain. Any help appreciated. Is this you? What's going on here? Is TCH affiliated with them? Is someone trying to hijack the domain name? Please answer quickly if you can - this is rather unnerving. Hi - last question honest. I was able to transfer the domain name over; I understand from TCH that there is a waiting period of 5-7 days? Is that standard, after the authorization code is entered? Will I be notified that the waiting period is over? What is next? And how do I link this to opening a web-page account? Thanks again for everything - Alan

Hi - I'm fairly sure I want to go with TCH - several questions, however. 1. Can ordinary ftp be used for upload and deletion of files? I'm an independent artist, and usually change my site daily. (Along with this, is it possible to telnet into my site?) 2. Is it possible to eliminate the index.html page so that the user goes directly to a directory? I've always worked with this bare-bones approach, and want to continue. 3. If I register my already existing domain name with you (www.asondheim.org), do I list this as a new name? I'm confused here. 4. If there is adult content on the site, does it have to be 'password-protected' in terms of access?
