  1. Thanks for all the feedback. Unfortunately no one has answered my question as far as whether I can forward my domain name to an IP address or not. I agree TCH seems to have a great service at a great price however it doesn’t have the option of ASP. I understand PHP may be easier and is supported by TCH however I have specific reasons for wanting to develop with ASP.NET. Indeed I may setup a “test server” just for the sake of learning but it would be nice if I could have it online so I could get feedback from friends and family as I develop. Thanks, Kevin
  2. Thanks all for the kind reception. I will have to give them a call but I do know other people who use Time Warner's Roadrunner service to host small, low traffic, all legal, personal websites similar to the one I plan on running. I thought I saw a place to forward my domain to another web address but I wasn't sure If I could use an IP address.
  3. Hello to all, New Member, first post and new to all of this. I just recently bought a domain name though TCH and planned on buying a starter account to host my site but now I realize I may want to do more than I originally thought. I've learned that I may want to try doing some vb.net, asp.net, dotnetnuke sites just to learn about everything I can. I now realize that TCH doesn't support asp. Also, I am thinking about hosting my own site from a second computer (XP Pro with SSI) and my cable connection. Is there a way to forward my domain to my rarely changing IP address? I will worry about the dynamic IP Address on my own. Thank you kindly, Kevin
