Hi TCH-Thomas, Maybe you have solved this issue already but I had the same problem and it was related to a security update I made. (MS05-012). Apperently this update cause the Generic Hosts Process problem on some boxes. Try installing the new fix (for the old fix :-)) from the guys from the dark side: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...displaylang=eng Cheers, IPreferMacOSX.
