  1. Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I now have a better understanding of why your policy on excessive resource usage is the way it is... and I suppose any good host would work the same way... but is there a way to checp how much CPU I'm using on TCH, and what are the obvious causes?
  2. I was hosted for free by someone who was selling a reseller package from here, but they seemed to vanish of the face of the internet, and since I really liked their server, I did a whois on their domain and found TCH. I've been considering it for a long time, and am probably going to become a customer within the next few days.
  3. I am looking for a webhost for reasonably sized forum, and am considering TotalChoice Hosting as a serous possibility, but I have a question about your Acceptable Use Policy: "TotalChoice Hosting accounts operate on shared resources. Excessive use or abuse of these shared network resources by one customer may have a negative impact on all other customers. Misuse of network resources in a manner which impairs network performance is prohibited by this policy and may result in termination or suspension of your account without notice." From what I've read, in many cases, words like these can mean that a site will be shut down if it experiences an excessive amount of traffic, even if the amount of bandwidth used by the site in question per month is lower than that of the purchased plan. Since this forum uses plenty of bandwidth, I need to be sure that this is not the case, and that my account will not be deleted if it causes what you see as "too much" of a load on the server due to traffic... and that instead, I will recieve a warning that I am using too much (and perhaps a new plan recommendation), as opposed to having my site instantly deleted or suspended. I'm all about getting what I pay for, and I think if I buy 35 GB of data transfer, I should get 35 GB of data transfer. I'm sure you agree with this, but I have to be sure. I've heard some pretty bad horror stories (not from this host specifically, or anything like that), and I really need to be sure that this does not happen.
