I submitted a ticket. Thanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One thing that anyone can check is this. The Horde mail box has changed. Go to the inbox and there is a little check box that is already checked. You cannot uncheck it or you cannot check it to select all as you used to be able to so therefore it's useless. What I am saying is horde as of last night has changed for the worse (at least on my server) and that is ONE of the problems as well as the others mentioned above.

One more thing... This new? (or old) horde I cannot even select the check box to "select all" when I want to delete messages. The check box is selected already and you cannot deselect it or select it - it is just unuseable....

I know there were problems last night (server 97) and eventually it got back up but since then my access to web mail has changed drastically for the worse. I use to (from cpanel) access webmail and I have say several mail boxes (accounts) and I could access them all from one mailbox by selecting from the menu on the left side frame. Now it seems I can only access one account at a time and the features are less than what they were previously. Has the server somehow reverted to a previous version of the web mail or what has changed and why??

To Discard Spam the instructions say this: In the third box, enter: *****SPAM***** which doesn't work but your third box you said "Yes" which worked which is probably why I had a problem in the first place.

I will try that but I have tried to specifically delete some other mail by following the above instructions with specific items like header contains whatever and Discard but there still seeems that much of the specifically targeted mail got through if not to the main mailbox but to the Spam mailbox. I will try it. Thanks.

According to the Spam Assassin site the configuartion changing they offer is for an older version 2.5 but I tried it anyway on 3.0.2 and although they say it wouldn't work on older or newer versions it seems to have worked for me (all I did though was accept only english emails (no foreign). Now my next question is how I get all this SPAM 600+ this morning to just be trashed rather than me having to manually do it. Would enabling Spam Assassin but NOT enabling SPAM mailbox do the trick?

Do you know what version of Spam Assasin we are using because if I try to modify the language files from the SpamAssassin site I get a local.cf file which I assume I would just add to the spam assassin folder rather than try to edit the user_prefs file?

Where is the user_prefs file to be able to edit it?

If you think a 'machine' is doing it, feel free to enable BoxTrapper which is in your Cpanel near the bottom. Then it'll auto send back a verification letter and if the machine doesn't return it, the letter is deleted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is no Box Trapper on my Cpanel. I was told also that it didn't work well yet and is not on all Cpanels and may be removed in the future. Any other ideas?

I get TONS of SPAM. I have the Spam Assassin enabled but a few questions: 1. I have it sep up so that SPAM ASSASSIn should discard (or delete) SPAM but it doesn't. 2. I have many filters trying to get rid of the same type of email (foreign spam) that includes the same type characters "=?GB2312?" in the from, the header everywhere and no matter how many times I add a new filter it still gets through?? 3. Is there any way to refuse ALL FOREIGN email?

I am curious how you would reference a directory in the same level as public_html as for example public_html is the base level directory after domain name isn't it? http://mysite.com/tasks if tasks is same level as public_html how would you refernce it?

I set up a cron job for a script I have installed for example below: http://mysite.com/tasks/email_reminders.php This will work fine but the "tasks/" directory I have password protected so how do I include as part of the job my username/password???
